Osteopathy for Family Health
LONDON OSTEOPATH
Often I see patients that have had problems for years, who have visited many Doctors or other therapists and are feeling lost and defeated.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Pain or ailments in the body can be a result of something not working properly, or they can be a result of physical or emotional events or traumas that have happened in the past.
Osteopathy is a gentle and effective hands-on approach to healthcare and it is based on the principle that the way your body moves influences how it functions.
By teasing out what is happening in the body, we can connect the dots and start the healing journey.
"I believe in the power of touch and this is the reason why I mainly work with my hands - I listen to the body's stories through them, always without judgement, just comprehension."
WHO DO I HELP?
I don't treat people with conditions, I treat the person as a whole to support their own healing.
I see a very wide spectrum of patients as each person lives with disease, injury, pain or trauma in a very different way. It is because of this that each patient is unique.
Many women come to me with hormonal issues such as endometriosis or PCOS.
Others are on their journey towards conception and motherhood and suffering from gut, musculoskeletal or emotional issues that are revealing as tiredness or pain in an area of the body.
Many parents and carers come to me with an instinct that something is not quite right - the youngest of my patients can only signal that something is wrong through their crying or behaviour. They may suffer from feeding difficulties, unsettled behaviour, colic, flat head, torticollis, reflux or constipation.
Younger patients also see me with recurrent ear infections, developmental delay, delay in achieving milestones or asymmetries shown during movement.
No matter what you are struggling with, I am here to help you along the pathway to improving your health.
" She is incredible with babies and has such a gentle calming presence which was evident as soon as she started working with my son. Laura goes above and beyond her job and is so supportive- her service feels so much more than just osteopathy, it is far more than that. She has such a holistic approach and even helped in my breastfeeding journey, which without her I could have given up by now."
